The Sign Gypsies story began in 2014 in McKinney, TX. Two friends, both with small children and big imaginations, were seeking an outlet to unleash their creativity and entrepreneurial spirits. Immediately, Sign Gypsies was born! Their tiny idea has now grown to more than 500 locations nationwide giving other entrepreneurs the opportunity to unleash their creative passions.

ABOUT YOUR LOCAL FRANCHISE
Hey there! I'm Lisa Garbe, owner and operator of Sign Gypsies West. I’m a wife and mom to two wonderful, fun-loving, not-so-little anymore girls. We moved to Colleyville in 2014 and, in 2015, became the 2nd Sign Gypsies franchise and the 2nd location in Texas. I celebrated TEN YEARS of spreading JOY in our community in November 2025! My service area was once "everything West of the original Sign Gypsies location", but now I focus on serving the communities of Colleyville, Grapevine & Southlake.

Creativity & a love to serve others are among my top two passions in life. Surprisingly, I have a degree and background in finance - hardly considered a "creative" outlet. I volunteer in our community with BOTH of my daughters through the Colleyville Chapter of National Charity League, on the board for the GCISD Special Athletes Booster Club, have served as an officer for Colleyville Elementary & Cross Timbers MS PTAs, and will wrap up my PTA service with my last 2026 graduate as the Grapevine High School Ambassador Mom!

As a Texas native, I was fortunate to see the magic of Sign Gypsies signs from the beginning, and jumped at the ground floor opportunity to bring the fun "west" to Tarrant County. Our unique service has such an incredibly positive impact on others and I am absolutely humbled to be a part of this business! I hope that our yard greetings & exceptional service will be something that you and your family, friends and coworkers will be talking about for years to come!
